Jessie Lillian (Stedman) Cobb, 80, of Rutherfordton, North Carolina, died November 3, 2011, at Rutherford Regional Medical Center.
A native of Polk County, North Carolina, she was the daughter of the late C.A. Stedman and Sudie (Honeycutt) Stedman.
She worked in food service at St. Luke's Hospital and was a member of Melvin Hill Church of the Brethren.
She is survived by two sons, Arlan Bush and wife Elizabeth of Shelby, NC, and Rick Bush and wife Gloria of Inman, SC; sister, Lois Cordell of Shiloh, NC; two grandchildren, Suzanne and Brett Bush.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, A.C. Cobb.
Funeral services were held at 3:00 PM on Sunday, November 6, 2011 at Melvin Hill Church of the Brethren with Rev. Earl Byers officiating.
Interment followed in the church cemetery.
The family received friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials were made to Hospice of Rutherford County or Melvin Hill Church of the Brethren.
