Dairy Products Distributor Dies.

Leonce P. Chauffe of 903 Eighth, Gretna, long-time dairy products distributor on the West Bank, died Saturday morning at the West Jefferson General Hospital after a brief illness. He was 56.

Funeral services will be held Monday at 9 a.m. at the Mothe Funeral Home, 505 Amelia, Gretna, followed by religious rites at St. Joseph's Catholic church in Gretna.

He had been associated with the Sealtest Company for 20 years.

He is survived by his widow, the former Althea Roubique; three sons, Gerald Chauffe, Jackie Chauffe and Paul Chaufee, all of Gretna; three daughters, Mrs. William Schultheis of Gretna, Mrs. Harris Hebert of Gretna, and Mrs. Douglas O'Leal of Columbus, Ga.; six sisters, Mrs. Lewis Schuler, Mrs. William Flithers, Mrs. John Beale, Mrs. James Hearty, Mrs. Paul Jones and Mrs. Lester Bourgeois, all of New Orleans; two brothers, Roger Chauffe of Graham, Tex., and Alex Chauffe of Grosse Tete, La.; and 11 grandchildren.
