Leone Remsburg, 98, of Warfordsburg, Pa., died Friday, Feb. 17, 2017, at Fulton County Medical Center in McConnellsburg, Pa.
Born Jan. 28, 1919, in Crystal Spring, Pa., she was the daughter of Bruce and Edith (Mellott) Barton, who preceded her in death; and the wife of John Remsburg, who died in November 1993.
She was a 1939 graduate of Bethel Township High School in Warfordsburg.
She was a member of May’s Chapel Christian Church and a former member of the Warfordsburg Grange.
She is survived by two sons, Jean Remsburg of Crystal Spring, Pa., and Mark Remsburg of Warfordsburg; three sisters, Hazel Brambley of Breezewood, Pa., Jane Gipe of Chambersburg, Pa., and Shirley Remsburg of Warfordsburg; 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Susan McCusker; and a brother, Bernard Barton.
Services will be at the convenience of the family.
