SENATOBIA---Rev. Berry Gibbs Whitehurst, 69, retired United Methodist minister, died Thursday at Baptist Memorial Hospital of Union County in New Albany. Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at C. O. Pate Funeral Home with burial in Cockrum Cemetery near Independence.
He leaves a sister, Ruth McPherson of Nashville, and three brothers, Clay Whitehurst of Independence, and Howard Whitehurst and Larry Whitehurst, both of Senatobia.
