Funeral Rites for Miss Dotson Will Be Held Today
Wapello (IA) -- Funeral services for Miss Hattie Katherine Dotson, 83, will be held at 2:30 p.m. today in Fairview church east of Newport. Burial will be in Fairview cemetery.
Miss Dotson died Friday in the Swoall(?) nursing home in Burlington where she had been the last five weeks.
She was born April 6, 1866, in Newport, Louisa county, daughter of David and Mary Dotson, and was the last surviving member of her family. She is survived by several nieces and nephews.
