Francisco "Frank" Bachicha Sr., was born on October 20, 1908 and passed away on June 3, 1999.
Francisco is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Marcella Armijo-Bachicha, his children, Benny and Theresa Bachicha, Berna and Charlie Aragón, Frank Bachicha Jr. and Mary and Irene and Larry Lucero, 14 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Frank was preceded in death by Adela, his wife of 24 years and the mother of his children, his parents, Emilianita and Tomas Bachicha, brothers, Nemecio, Roman, José, Raymundo, David, Gullermo and Alfredo and sisters, María, Felicita, Rosita and Francisquita.
Frank was a resident of his birth place, Encino, NM, until his move to Albuquerque in 1951.
Frank was employed by Sandia Base until retirement in 1970. A Parishioner of St. Charles Catholic Church and an active member of the Holy Name Society and Nocturnal Adoration Group until his very long illness of four plus years.
Visitation will be on Sunday evening at St. Charles Catholic Church, 1818 Coal SE, from 7:15 p.m. until 7:45 p.m., with a Rosary to be recited at 7:45 p.m. by Tommy Bachicha. Final visitation will be on Monday, from 9:00 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. at St. Charles Catholic Church with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. by Father Bob Chabot. Interment will follow in the Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Pallbearers will be his grandsons, Dan Bachicha, Mike Bachica and Phillip Bachicha, Paul Aragón, Vincent Aragón, Steven Aragon and Roberto Aragón.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to the Women's Auxiliary, St. Charles Catholic Church, or a favorite charity.
