PRESTONSBURG — Paul David Gibson, 57, of Prestonsburg, passed away Friday, Nov. 4, 2011, in Highlands Regional Medical Center in Prestonsburg.
Paul was born Jan. 16, 1954, in Elliott County, the son of Cora Alice Gibson of Isonville, and the late Ray Gibson. Besides his father, he was preceded in death by a sister, Wilma F. Gibson Adkins.
He was a welder with KY Fuels and an Army veteran.
Paul is survived by his wife, Linda Sparks Gibson; a stepson, Brandon Howard of Inez; and a stepgrandson, Evan.
He is also survived by brother, Chuck Gibson of Lexington; and sister, Shirley Gibson Mason of Thelma.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 6, 2011, at Lewis & Ferguson Funeral Home in Sandy Hook with Brother Paul Preston and Brother Lawrence Adkins officiating. Burial will be in the Elliott County Memory Gardens with military services by Elliott County VFW Post 11428.
