Mildred died Dec. 2, 1998 at age 93. Mildred and her late husband, Richard, were longtime residents of Lake Oswego. Mildred was a member of Waverley Country Club, Multnomah Athletic Club, and First Presbyterian Church. Mildred was active in politics and with the support of her many friends she formed the Womens Legislative Council to work for campaigns, elections, candidates and issues. Mildred was devoted to her home and family. She will be greatly missed by her loving sisters Violet Wilson, Melissa Gore and Catherine Deaver, wife of Mildred's late brother, Robert, and by her many nieces, nephews and friends.
