Mrs. Edna Berg, age 93, formerly of 841 N. 11th St., Manitowoc, died Saturday
morning, April 2, 1994, at the Manitowoc Health Care Center.
Family Graveside Services were held Monday morning, April 4, 1994, at the
Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc, Rev. Robert Simensen officiated.
The former Edna Groll was born August 24, 1900, in Manitowoc, daughter of the
late Reinhold and Anna Reis Groll. She was a graduate of Lincoln High School,
Manitowoc. On June 20, 1925, she married Gordon Berg in Manitowoc. He preceded
her in death January 27, 1980. She worked for many years for the White House
Milk Company. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church and the Manitowoc
Senior Citizens.
Survivors include two nephews and their wives, Paul C. (Joan) Johnson, Spirit
Lake, Iowa, William N. (Marc) Johnson, Redding, Calif.; brothers-in-law, sisters-
in-law, other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by
one sister, Helen Johnson.
