Mary Katherine White, 72, of Hedgesville, died Tuesday, November 1, 2011 at her residence.
She was born October 2, 1939 in Berkeley County, the daughter of the late Josephine (Barron) Pierce.
She retired from the Nu-Look Cleaners.
She is survived by her husband, Edward Tharp White; two sons, Edward Lee White, of Hedgesville, and Russell Glen White, of Inwood; one daughter, Kimberly Staubs of Hedgesville; 18 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Edna Lou Wilson and Barbara Jean Chase, both of Martinsburg.
In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Douglas and Clifton Pierce; and a great-grandchild who died in infancy.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, November 3, 2011 at Brown Funeral Home with Rev. Charles Conley officiating. Interment will be held at Pleasant View Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 2nd, at the funeral home.
