SHERMAN ALEXANDER
Sherman Alexander, 92, of Holton, died Tues., Oct. 1 in a Holton nursing home. He was the father of Mrs. Velma Winchell of Topeka.
Mr. Alexander was born July 22, 1865. He was a farmer and had lived near Summerfield most of his life.
Also surviving are three other daughters, Mrs. Gertie Davey of Torrance, Calif., Mrs. Charles Curran of Minnesota and Mrs. Leon Wise of Horton; a son , Roy Alexander of Detroit, Mich.; 15 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Services were held at the Christian Church at 10:30 a.m., Friday in Horton. Burial was at Summerfield.
