Thomas "TC" Andrew Chapman was the son of Asbury Chapman and of Mary Frances Yarborough. He married Martha Jane Ryals in about 1891 in Holmes County, MS. They had 7 children, all born in Mississippi. All but two of their children also died in MS. Two daughters, Jessie Leona Bell and Deda Mae Chapman (who married two brothers, John Bartley Harrell and Richard Corenzo Harrell) moved to Madera California where they raised their families, died, and were buried there.
