Evelyn Baxter (nee Austin), age 84, of Crown Point, IN, passed away on Tuesday, August 9, 2011 at Chicagoland Christian Village in Crown Point, IN.
Evelyn is survived by 4 children: Sandy Bice of Arizona, Sue Harrington of Crown Point, IN, William Baxter of Wheaton, IL, and Kathy (Charles) Schutz of Lizton, IN; 9 grandchildren and a goodly amount of great-grandchildren; 1 brother: Sam Austin.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Jackson Harold Baxter.
Evelyn worked in Crown Point at Ferrero's Restaurant, Mrs. Dooley's, Crown Point Family Billards, 12 Island's Restaurant, and the Crown Point Community Schools.
Friends may visit with the family on Friday, August 12, 2011 at Geisen Funeral-Cremation & Reception Centre (2 blks east of Broadway) at 606 E. 113th Ave., Crown Point, IN from 4:00 to 6:00 PM.
A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, August 12, 2011 at 6:00 PM at Geisen Funeral-Cremation & Reception Centre in Crown Point, IN, with Chaplain Frank Klobucar officiating.
