Bessie E. Mott, 84, 2106 Engle St., died Monday in Ball Memorial Hospital. She was born in Fowlerton, but lived most of her life in this area. She retired from Ball Brothers (now Ball Corp.) in 1963 after 37 years of employment. She was a member of Eagles Auxiliary and Ball Brothers Club.
Surviving are a son, Jack Stewart, Muncie; two daughters, Bettie (Mrs. Hobart) Pate, Cincinnati, Ohio, and Anita (Mrs. Rutherford) Atkinson, Anderson; a sister, Estella Spencer, Montezuma, Ohio; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday in Parson Mortuary-Adams Chapel, with Rev. Collins Glenn officiating. Burial will be in Elm Ridge Cemetery. Calling hours at the mortuary are 6-9 p.m. today.
