Amanda (Weigandt) Wells, 31, passed away Saturday. She is survived by her parents, Richard & Juliana Weigandt; brother, Todd (Julianne) Weigandt; sister, Dee Dee (Stan) Bender; twin sister, Abi (Doug) Bardasian.

Visitation is today, 2-8, at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster, OH. Service will be Friday at 10 am in St. Augustine Catholic Church, Minster, OH. Local visitation from 2-4, 6-8 p.m. Saturday in Essling Funeral Home, with service at 11 a.m. Sunday. Burial at Syracuse Cemetery.


Mrs. Amanda Weigandt Wells, 31, passed away on Saturday, Oct. 29, 2011, surrounded by her family at Swedish Covenant Hospital in Chicago, Illinois due to complications incurred during the birth of her daughter, Abigail Juliana.

Mandi was born on Feb. 7, 1980 in St. Marys, Ohio. She married Leighton Wells on Sept. 15, 2007, in Syracuse, Indiana.

She is survived by her parents, Richard and Juliana Weigandt; her brother, Todd Weigandt, and wife, Julianne; her sister, Dee Dee Bender, and husband, Stan; her twin sister, Abi Bardasian, and husband, Doug; her mother and father-in-law, Jeff and Cindy Wells; her sister-in-law, Cassandra Wells; and grandparents, Ralph Larger, and Bill and Barbara Beemer, Leighton's grandparents.

Mandi loved spending her free time with her nieces and nephews, Madyson, Savannah, Ireland, Shania, Stone, Tag, Guy, Star, Lawson and Mayer. Mandi also loved the time she spent walking her boxer, Casey. Mandi was an avid water skier and thoroughly enjoyed spending her weekends with her family at Lake Wawasee in Syracuse, Indiana.

Mandi was a graduate of Minster High School in 1998, and graduated from Miami University in 2002 with a bachelor's degree in marketing. She was a member of Gamma Phi Beta Sorority. Mandi was a medical representative with Genentech in Chicago, where she was a member of the President's Club.

Friends may call at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home in Minster, Ohio on Thursday, Nov. 3, from 2 to 8 p.m.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10 a.m. at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Minster on Friday, Nov. 4.

Eastlund Funeral Home in Syracuse, Indiana will hold viewing services on Saturday, Nov. 5, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m.

The funeral service will be held on Sunday, Nov. 6 at Eastlund Funeral Home at 11 a.m., followed by burial service at Syracuse Cemetery.
