James Thomas Back was the son of Henry Vincel Back and Elizabeth Fletcher Back. He was the husband of Loula Back. She was the daughter of Lewis D. Back and Amanda Bell Holbrook BackHe was known as Tom. His parents were Henry Vincel Back and Elizabeth Emma Fletcher. He married Loula Back on June 6, 1901. She was his second cousin. They had at least seven children. They left Kentucky and moved to Middletown, Ohio sometime before 1910. Loula's parents and some of her siblings went with them. Some of Tom's siblings also moved there. He worked at the Colin Gardner Paper Company in Middletown. His wife Loula died of diabetes in 1922. She was also buried here, as were her parents. Tom got remarried to Mary Ann Mullins a few months later. She died in 1968 and she was also buried here.
