Ina Faye Jackson 1925 - 2010
Ina Faye Jackson died Feb. 1, 2010, at The Memorial Hospital in Craig after a brief illness. She was 84.
Ina Faye "Grammy Lou" Jackson was born Dec. 5, 1925, in Lay, the daughter of Walter L. and Mary (Solace) Bohrer. She was raised in the Lay and Juniper Springs area and attended country schools there.
Ina married Andy S. Jackson on Sept. 21, 1945, in Kremmling. They lived in the Jensen, Utah, area before moving to Craig in 1950. Ina resided in Craig since that time.
Ina enjoyed reading, loved music and played the mandolin and harmonica.
She also enjoyed flowers and working in her garden.
She is survived by her daughters, Rosalie J. Bechhold, of Craig, and Kathleen Faye Metcalf, of Hendersonville, N.C.; sons Andrew Deloss Jackson, of Craig, and William B. (Lynn) Jackson, of Apache Junction, Ariz.; 13 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren; brothers Everette Borher, of Dinosaur, and Walt (Nancy) Bohrer, of Craig; and her sisters-in-law Luella Burke and Madge Jackson, of Vernal, Utah.
She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Mary Fedinec; and sisters, Frances Craig and Greta Foss.
Cremation has taken place, and memorial services were Feb. 5, 2010, at The Grant Mortuary Chapel with Pastor Bob Woods officiating.
Honorary Pallbearers were Michael Andrew Mower, Josh T., Jake B., Brian B. and Jason L. Jackson and Kyle C. Bechhold.
