Lynn - Mrs. Bessie Hodson, 84 died 11 Jul 1972 at her home, 125 North Main St., Lynn. She was born and lived most of her life in the Carlos community, moving to Lynn three years ago. She was the widow of William O. Hodson who died in 1952.

Mrs. Hodson was a member of the Carlos Christian Church and had attended the Lynn Friends Church since moving to Lynn.

Surving are five daughters, Mrs. Pearl Vincent of Peru, Mrs. Hazel Moore of R.r.1, Winchester, Mrs. Rena Clark of Dayton, OH, Mrs. Bertha Puterbaugh of Detroit, MI and Mrs. Dottie Pegg, Lynn; two sons, Glen of Winchester and William of Lynn; a sister Mrs. Grace Adamson, Fountain City; 13 grandchildren and 25 great- grandchildren. Burial was at Fountain Park Cemetery.
