Harold S. Alexander, 66, Coeur d'Alene, died Thursday, June 22,1995, at home.
He was born July 3, 1928, in Coeur d'Alene to William and Elizabeth (Ness) Alexander.
He graduated from Coeur d'Alene High School in 1946, then attended North Idaho Junior College. He served in the U.S. Army. After his discharge he returned to Coeur d'Alene.
He worked as a clerk for the U.S. Postal Service in Coeur d'Alene from 1951 to 1983. He coached St. Thomas basketball for many years and was a member of Coeur d'Alene Eagles.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara, in 1990 and mother Elizabeth in 1993.
Survivors include sons John Alexander of Seattle, Thomas Alexander and Donald Alexander of Portland and David Alexander
of Coeur d'Alene; brother Charles "Bill" Alexander of Coeur d'Alene; sister Phyllis Martillaro of Wheaton, III.; and five grand- children.
Funeral services are 1:30 p.m. Monday at English Funeral Chapel, Coeur d'Alene.
