Theron A. "Terry" Prescott Sr., 68, of Lyndonville and formerly of Hardwick and Barre, died Sunday, Oct. 30, 2011, at Northeastern Vermont Regional Hospital in St. Johnsbury following a short battle with cancer.
He was born in Jersey City, N.J., on June 27, 1943, the son of Harold and Eva (Waite) Prescott. He was a stone cutter for over 35 years working for some of the granite sheds in Barre and Montpelier.
He was predeceased by his wife of over 30 years Barbara (McGrath) Prescott; his father, Harold Prescott; a son, Theron Prescott Jr.; his brother, Chester Prescott; and a granddaughter, Eiden Sileese Danis.
Graveside funeral services will be held in Orange, Vt., on Saturday, Nov. 5, at 11 a.m. at the East Orange Cemetery.
