Marye Stephens Drew Daniell, 69, a resident of Saint Simons Island and a member of Saint Simons United Methodist Church, died Tuesday, July 14, 2009 at her home.
Mrs. Daniell was born on June 10, 1940 in Dublin, Laurens County, Georgia. She was a graduate of Dublin High School and attended Tift College in Forsyth, Georgia.
Her parents William Stephens "Bill" and Dorothy Eloise "Dot" Cloud Drew of Dublin, Georgia and her husband of 48 years, Duren Daniell, Jr., M.D., predeceased her. She is survived by many cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that any donations be made to the Humane Society of South Coastal Georgia, Inc., 4627 N. Highway 17, Brunswick, Georgia 31565 or the charity of your choice. Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home, Brunswick is in charge of arrangements.
Inurnment at Arlington National Cemetery, Washington, D. C. beside her husband will take place at a later date.
