THOMPSON--Funeral services for Mrs. Laura Elizabeth Thompson, aged 77 years, who passed away at the family home, 1005 Thirteenth street, Tuesday morning, February 2, after a short illness, were held Wednesday, February 3, at 2 pm from the St. James Presbyterian church with Rev. James Wilson officiating, and interment was made in the family plot in Bay View cemetery under the direction of the Bingham-Dahlquist funeral home.

Mrs. Thompson was a member of the Eastern Star lodge of Clarks, Nebr, and had resided in Bellingham for the past six years, where she had a host of friends who mourn her passing.

She leaves to survived her three sons, Cecil Thompson of Seattle, and Howard and Leonard Thompson of Bellingham; three brothers, Loring Porter of Champaign, Illinois, and Will and Putman Porter of Lincoln, Nebr. Mrs. Thompson also leaves to survive her three granddaughters and three grandsons.

Casketbearers were: A. J. Freise, C. S. Beard, E. W. Thompson, C. E. Olds, Joe Hermssen and J. A. Kellogg.
