HILTZ, Emily Livian – 102 Forties, Lunenburg Co. died May 3, 1997 at home, Born in Fraxville, Lunenburg Co., she was a daughter of the late Adoniram and Sarah Ann (Hiltz) Legge. She lived all of her life in the Forties area. She was a life member of the womens auxiliary group. She as a Sunday school teacher for many years and took an active part in church and community affairs. Surviving are sons: Clinton, Carl, Fraxville; Calvin, Forties: daughters: Phyllis Goulden, Aylesford; Melba Barkhouse, Rockland; Leola Hiltz, Fraxville; Parnell Powers, Berwick; Lucille Avery, Thelma Keillor, Beaverbank; Rolena Brown, Forties; Lois Durling, Cambridge; 26 grandchildren, 45 great-grandchildren; 20 great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by: her husband, Rufus; daughters, Aileen, Goldie; son Dean; brothers, Norman, Newton, Edgar, Gordon: sisters, Esther, Edna, Hazel; four grandchildren. Visitation, 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today in H.C. Lindsay Memorial Chapel, New Ross. Funeral 2 p.m. Tuesday in St. Augustine's Church Forties, Rev. Gordon Neish officiating. Burial in church cemetery. Donations to any charity.
