Douglas Eugene "Windy" Barnes, 72, of Pocahontas, AR., passed away Tuesday, November 01, 2011.

Born August 04, 1939, in Biggers, AR, to the late Bill and Buelah Barnes.

He is also preceded in death by brothers Jack and Bunk Barnes, sister Sue Stockwell, a special nephew Billy Ray Johnson, infant brother Duel Wayne Barnes and infant son Ray Neil Barnes.

He is survived by wife Barbara Barnes of the home, three sons; Rodger Barnes, Loney Barnes and Kevin and wife Karen Barnes, daughter and caregiver Angie Barnes and 8 grandchildren; Lauren Jansen, Bryce Decker, Rachel Barnes, Kolby Barnes, Hope Barnes, Allie Barnes and Gage and Maggie Glisson. Sisters; Shirley Griffin and Betty Hufstedler all of Pocahontas.

Funeral service were held at First Freewill Baptist Church. Burial was in Sutton Cemetery.
