Bruce Allen Boles, 55, of White Stone died on Friday, May 14, 2010. He was a retired Captain with the Middlesex Sheriffs Department. Mr. Boles was accomplished in the area of police investigation, having graduated with honors from the Forensic Science Academy in Richmond. He was a member of White Stone United Methodist Church and former president of Lancaster Country Rescue Squad.
He was the loving father of two children, Ryan Jackson Boles and Rachel Ann Boles of Mathews; also surviving is his mother, Jean H. Boles; sister, Bonnie B. Abbott and husband, Glen; brother, Kenny Boles all of White Stone. He was preceded in death by his father, Henry Jackson Boles.
Memorial services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, May 22 at the Currie Funeral Home, Kilmarnock with Rev. Craig Smith officiating. Interment will be private.
