Death Of Mrs. E. R. Meade
"Mrs. Meade, wife of Hon. E. R. Meade, who has been ill several months, and recently came from Bainbridge, died at the residence of her father-in-law in this village Monday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. The disease that sapped her life away was paralysis with which she had been afflicted for several months.
For a number of seasons past, Mrs. Meade had occupied their summer residence in this village, and by her ladylike and affable demeaner she had won warm friends. She was an intelligent and entertaining lady and will be missed and mourned by those who knew her best. Mrs. Meade was a niece of Hon. Joseph Bush, of Bainbridge. Previous to her marriage she had made her home with another uncle, Mr. Alvah Bush of Tioga, Pennsylvania."
