On Wednesday, June 22, 2011, the Lord paid a visit to his child and friend: Mrs. Helen L. Abrams, to take her to her heavenly home.

Helen L. Abrams, born January 25, 1941 to the late Howard Pritchett and Erma Pritchett. She was preceded in death by both parents, one brother Howard Jr., one sister Verna Roberts. She was introduced to the Lord at an early age. Helen received her education at Dover High School. She retired from Saint Frances Hospital and continued to work after her retirement at the Rockland Center, and the Lorelton Assisted Living Nursing Home.

She loved working and taking care of others. She loved her family and would do anything to help anyone. She enjoyed going to Delaware Park, and talking on the phone mostly gossiping with her cousin Jean.

She was united in Holy Matrimony to Jerome Abrams, in 1967. She leaves to cherish her memory: one daughter Donna Abrams-Mitchell, one son, Jeffrey Abrams (Patti), two grandchildren, Crystal Abrams (Terrence), Jahmere Abrams, two great grandchildren, Dwayne Staats, Jagger Trapp, one step grandchild Jarren Glandton, two devoted stepdaughters, Judy Hopkins-Ross (Tony) Pammy Carter.

Her surviving sibling: Josephine May (Clifford), Agnes Taylor (Ralph), Loretta Mann, Cheryl Pritchett, Virginia Young (James), Edward Pritchett, Alfonso Pritchett, Kenneth Dixon (Elva), Floyd Dixon (Beverly), Louis Benson (Judy), one devoted stepmother Helen Pritchett, two uncles, three aunts, many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
