Tenth of ten children of John and Lily (Spayde) Clever. Born and raised on farm in Washington Twp, Richland Co, OH. Later moved to Bellville with parents and worked with the family greenhouse.
Married Wilma Jane Ruckman on July 8, 1931. Father of Ronald and Ruth.
Brother of Samuel Anthony, Fred Henry, Walter Edwin, Gladys Margaret, Bessie Rose, Paul Albert and Ruth Lily.
Owned and operated Evergreen Nursery in Caledonia from 1940 until his death.
Have not been able to locate an obit for Harold. Assume he is in Caledonia Cemetery since that is where his wife was buried in 2005.
