Elizabeth Bussell
Services were conducted for Anderson resident Elizabeth B. "Betty" Bussell, 75, who died Wednesday, Feb. 6, 1985, at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.
Born in Hancock County, she had resided in Anderson since 1931. She had been employed at Hoyt Wright Co. office from 1957 to 1965 and in the Hill's Department Store office.
She was a member of the Noble Street United Methodist Church, Order of Eastern Star 154, Psi Iota Xi Beta Chapter and Young at Heart Club. She was also active in Girl Scouts of America for more than 30 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Claude M. Bussell.
She is survived by a daughter, Suetta Johnson of Anderson; three sons, Richard Bussell and Ronald Bussell, both of Indianapolis and Donald Bussell of Greenfield; two sisters, Virginia Heche and Barbara Lewark, both of Fortville; two brothers, James Alford and Jerry Alford, both of Fortville; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were Friday, Feb. 8, 1985, at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service in Anderson. The Rev. Thomas Bowman of the Noble Street United Methodist Church officiated. Burial followed at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
Eastern Star memorial services were conducted Thursday, Feb. 7.
