ROMINTA FRANCESCA HANKINS GOFF, 49, of LONG BRANCH, died Saturday, Sept. 27. Born in Augusta, Ga., she was educated at Red Bank High School. Her love for people shined through her work on the Garden State Parkway and her many community activities. She was a member of her Circle of Friends Bowling League, the Eastern Star and the NAACP.
Surviving are her parents, Betty and Sidney Goff of Long Branch; her close friend, Vasco Wallace of Newport News, Va.; a daughter, Sidra Hankins and her friend, Hasanda "Evette" Elliott of Newport News, Va.; a son, Michael "MC" Hankins and his friend, Marie Ganthier of Long Branch; her grandmother, Evelyn Donahue Johnson of Augusta, Ga.; two sisters, Marlana Goff of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Stacey Goff of Linden; four brothers and two sisters-in-law, Sidney Goff III of Long Branch, Jerome and Patricia Goff of Greenbelt, Md., Roger and Felicia Goff of Baldwin, Ga., and Micah Goff of Long Branch; three grandchildren, Deona Meekins of Tallahassee, Fla., Rajji Holloway and Kiara Hankins of Newport News, Va.; four aunts and three uncles, Ahtea Robinson of Baltimore, Md., Mary Donahue of Augusta, Ga., Leroy and Gloria Goff of Charleston, S.C., Nathaniel and Eliza Mae Brooks of Charleston, S.C., and Frank and Gloria Donahue of Augusta, Ga.; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and wonderful friends.
