Born in Brownsville, Dec. 2, 1867, he was a son of JESSE and MARY SCOTT BULGER, pioneer residents of the community.
A druggist for 60 years, he had conducted business in the same store at Water and Bridge Streets for 45 years.
He served as a vestryman at Christ Episcopal Church and was a member of the Masonic lodge.
Surviving are his wife, NELLE COCK BULGER, a son HOWARD; one sister, MRS. JESSIE WEST, and a brother, WILLIAM BULGER.
Friends will be received at the home on Water Street. The body will lie in state at Christ Episcopal Church on Friday afternoon prior to the 2:30 funeral service, with burial to be in Redstone Cemetery.
