Rebecca Lydia Rothrock was the youngest of nine known children of Solomon Rothrock (1786-1867) and Sarah Clark Rothrock (1795-1860), who married c1815 at presumably Oneida County, New York. The family arrived in Crawford County, Indiana in 1819. Solomon was a veteran of the War of 1812.
Rebecca married James L. Lynch (1840-1912) on 18 Dec 1865 at Harrison County, Indiana. Rebecca and James were the parents of six known children, namely:
1. infant son Lynch (1866-1866)
2. Mary Louella Lynch (1867-???)
3. Sarah A. R. Lynch (1870-???)
4. Esther E. J. Lynch Gresham (1874-1951)
5. Jessie M. Lynch Schnacke (1870-p1910)
6. James Abraham Lynch (1881-1958)
After Rebecca died, James remarried to Emma (last name unknown) (1858-???) and they had additional children.
