Jessie Mildred Partridge Henline, our beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt died of natural causes on July 22, 1990 at her favorite spot, her summer home in Koosharem, Utah.
She was born July 22, 1923 in Payson, Utah, a daughter of Lorin J. and Anna Mildred Partridge. She married Howard H. Henline, November 17, 1940 in Thistle and their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He preceded her in death. Jessie was serving as a temple worker at the Jordan River LDS Temple and as a volunteer resource aide at Draper Elementary. She enjoyed reading, ceramics, the outdoors, and serving others.
She has served in many LDS ward and stake positions, including Relief Society and Primary President, and Special Interest Representative. She also worked in the PTA and Senior Citizens' organizations.
Survived by children, Mrs. Mont (Sandra) Spencer, Payson; Howard L. Henline, Sandy, Kenneth R. Henline, Riverton; Richard L. Henline, Sandy; Mrs. Mike (Irene) Peterson, Draper; James L. Henline, Sandy; 21 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; brothers, Earnest, Palmyra; Donald, Spanish Fork; sisters, Mrs. Vince (Geraldine) Zumr, San Jose, California; Mrs. David (Barbara) Roper, Houston, Texas; Mrs. Jay (Lorraine) Barker, Payson.
Funeral Services Thursday, July 26, 11 AM, in the Draper LDS 2nd Ward Chapel, 1617 East 12700 South. Friends and family may call at Goff Mortuary, Wednesday 6-8 p.m. and Thursday at the ward one hour prior to services.
Interment, Redwood Memorial Estates.
