She was born March 9, 1915, at Junction City, the daughter of John and Luella (Williams) Godbey. She was a 1933 graduate of Salina High School.
Dorothy was a member of Seaman Congregational Church and Helena Chapter # 210, Order of the Eastern Star.
Dorothy married Lewis M. Paramore on Feb. 26, 1936 in Topeka. He preceded her in death on Feb. 12, 1986.
Surviving are 4 children; 13 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and 8 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, 5 brothers, James, John Wesley, William, Richard, and Robert Godbey; and 2 sisters, Frances Williams, and Katherine Beisner.
