DEATH: MILTON RONALD SHAW

Milton Ronald Shaw, age 74, died Tuesday, August 4, 1992, in Nephi, Utah.
He was born June 24, 1918 in Nephi, Utah to Edward Ronald and Essie Isabelle Ostler Shaw. Married Afton Ellison in Provo, Utah April 28, 1939; later divorced. For a short time he was married to Carolyn McDonald.He was a veteran of World War II, serving in U.S. Army. He was a member of the American Legion Post #1 in Nephi, having served as a past commander. He was active in politics much of his life, serving in various capacities in the Republican party and attending the National Convention in 1952. He made his home in Las Vegas, Nevada, for 25 years, before returning to Nephi. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and worked to promote wildlife preservation. He loved his family and gave generous support to their activities.
Survived by two sons and a daughter,
Stanford E. Shaw, Orem; Howard M. Shaw, Las Vegas, Nevada; Rondalyn S. Cloward, Sandy; 14 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by a daughter, Sally Joan Shaw.
Funeral services 11 a.m. Friday, August 7, 1992, in the Nephi LDS 4th Ward, 345 East 500 North. Friends may call Thursday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the Anderson Funeral Home, 94 West 300 North, Nephi, and at the church one hour prior to services. Burial: Vine Bluff Cemetery, Nephi, Utah.
