Mrs. Bessie Eagleson, a long-time resident of Lewis County, passed away at the home of her daughter, Mrs. George Stephenson, in St. Louis on Thursday morning, November 5, after a longtime illness of over a year. She departed this life at the age of 74 years and 4 months. Mrs. Eagleson had resided in the Canton community since 1914.
On October 29, 1902, she was united in marriage to John Henry Eagleson of Meyer, Illinois. To this union were born four children, all of whom survive her: James B., Chester H., Mrs. George Stephenson, and William.
