Mrs. Samuel Andrews died at her home on West Fourth Street on Sunday, after a brief illness. Mrs. Andrews, nee Louise Christopher, was born in Niagara County, New York, September 28, 1825. On August 15, 1849, she became the wife of Samuel Andrews. The husband and two children, Albert of New York state, and Mrs. Carrie Zanderholm, are left to mourn her death. In 1858 she removed to La Claire, Iowa, and the following year to this county. The funeral was held Tuesday morning at 10 o'clock from the Marion street M.E. church, Revs. J.E. Nichol and J.M. Hoffman officiating. Interment was in East Linwood.
