Robert Ezra Barber, 70, Eugene, died Sunday at Charles E. Still Hospital.
Born May 14, 1901, in Milan, Tenn., Mr. Barber was the son of Robert and Sally Peeler Barber. He was married Sept. 22, 1924, in Marion, Ill. to the former Miss Mazie Lillian Williamson, who survives.
He was a retired prison guard with the Missouri Department of Corrections. He was a member of the Methodist Church. He was a member of Hickory Hill Lodge No. 211 A.F. and A.M.
Other survivors include a sister, Mrs. Myrtice McKinney, Eugene.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. today at the Phillips Funeral Home, Eldon, with the Rev. Dennis Lewis officiating. Burial will be in the Eugene Cemetery. Masonic services will be at 8 p.m. today at the Phillips Funeral Home Chapel.
