Note: Her obit has several errors in it. Her husband was William H not Vernon W. Mills, her brother's surname is Focks not Fletcher and the town is Guymon, Oklahoma.

Minnie is the daughter of Michael Frederick Mills and Mary Schroeder. She married William H. Mills on 8 Feb 1879 in Waterville, Marshall, Kansas. They had two sons Vernon William and Harold Alphonso Mills. They divorced in between 1905 and 1915.
