She was born in Carroll County, a daughter of the late Charles and Rosa Harris Strine. She was a member of the Edgewood Church of the Brethren.
Surviving, besides her husband, are two daughter, Mrs. Helen Arnold of Westminster, and Mrs. Charlotte Marshall of Glenn Rock, Pa.; three sons Earl Green Jr., of Hagerstown, Charles E. Green and Richard W. Green, both of near New Windsor; two brothers, John Strine of New Windsor and George Strine of Laurel; three sisters, Mrs. Gertie Brown, Mrs. Florence Ecker, and Mrs. Mabel Lindsay, all of New Windsor, 18 grandchildren, one great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
