Helen Maxine Leas, daughter of William Hayden and Ethel Alice Morton Leas was born in Akron, Summit County, OH. She married Henry Paul Thoricht 12 April 1941.
She was a lifetime resident of Mogadore, Ohio. She worked at the B.F Goodrich Rubber Co. She was a member of the Mogadore Christian Church and was an active member of many of the church's groups and organizations.
Helen died 9 May 2003 at the age of 83. She was preceded in death by her parents, Hayden and Ethel Leas, her husband Henry, and a brother, Paul E. Leas.
Surviving are her sons, John (Francesca) and David Thoricht both of Akron; granddaughters, Joanne, Jessica and Simone; a brother, Robert M. (Betty) Leas of Dresden, Ohio; a brother-in-law, Robert Thoricht; and several nieces and nephews.
