Etta Campbell Gibson

PRESTON, Idaho- Mrs. Etta Campbell Gibson, 69, of Preston, formerly of North Ogden, died Saturday.
She was born in Liberty, Utah, June 30, 1894, a daughter of Warren and Mary Eliza White Campbell. She was married to Robert B. Gibson April 12, 1918, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.
She was educated in Weber County Schools and attended the Weber Academy in Ogden. She had been active as a teacher in the LDS Church and was president of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers at the time the Battle Creek monument was repaired and lanscaped.
Surivors include her husband of Preston and Three sons; Wayne R. Gibson, Phoenix, Ariz.; John W. Gibson, Minneapolis, Minn.; Dale C. Gibson, San Diego, Calif.; four sisters and two brothers, Mrs. George (Luella) Alvord, Mrs. Ray (Vera) Woodfield and Donald Campbell, all of North Ogden; Mrs. William (Bessie) Knighton, Ogden; Mrs. Ernest (Myrtle) Dilworth, Kimberly, Idaho, and Doral G. Campbell, Emmett, Idaho.
Funeral services will be held Tkuesday at 12 noon in the Oneida Stake House, Preston, Idaho. Friends may call at the Webb Mortuary tonight from 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday prior to services. Burial in the North Ogden Cemetery.
