Former Muncie resident Agnes J. Hayworth, 82, died Saturday evening in the Bluff Nursing Home in Pensacola, Fla.
Born in Butler, Ill., she attended schools in Hillsboro, Ill., before moving to Muncie as a young adult. She had worked for Ball Brothers (now Ball Corp.) during the 1930s and 40s. She and her husband, Charles, who preceded her in death in 1976, moved to Pace, Fla., in 1970.
Mrs. Hayworth was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and had been active in many ceramic clubs.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Betty and Dorvan Rust of Pensacola; two granddaughters, Renee VanGogh of California, and Celeste Landry of Pensacola; two great-grandsons, Eric McCool and Scott Porter, both of Pensacola; and several nieces and nephews.
Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday in St. Mary's Catholic Church with Father William Grady officiating. Entombment will be in the Gardens of Memory Mausoleum. The family will receive callers at Parson Mortuary-Adams Chapel 4-8 p.m. Tuesday. A rosary service will be conducted at the mortuary at 4 p.m. Tues
