She was born in Calhoun county, Alabama, July 8, 1861 to Charles and Catherine Craig Green. On December 10, 1887 she was married to Isaac William Ellett and made their home most of the time in Gilmer, Texas. Here Mr. and Mrs. Ellett became converts to the LDS faith and took active part in the work of that church at Gilmer. After the sons and daughters came to Utah to live, they made frequent trips here to visit them and a year ago she became ill while visiting and remained at the home of her daughter, where she died.
She is survived by her husband; three sons, Senator Ellett; Judge Ellett; Robert O. Ellett of Gilmore, Texas, and two daughters, Mrs. Bailey of Spanish Fork and Mrs. Ava C. Dickson of Kenilworth; 20 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren, and the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. Saluda Schaudies, John and Ernest Green, all of Rosebud, Texas; Mrs. Emma Eslinger, Albert, Leslie, Logan and Edward Green, all of Cameron, Texas; Mrs. Cornelia Grayson of Mercedes, Texas; Mrs. Maimie Alexander of Wichita Falls, Texas, and George Green of Gilmer, Texas.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Second LDS ward chapel by Bishop H. Eugene Hughes. Interment will be in Spanish Fork City cemetery.
