Dorothy Forrest Stepp, age 98, of Sweetwater, passed away on Sunday September 18, 2011. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Sweetwater. Mrs. Stepp was a well known educator in the McMinn County and Sweetwater City School Systems. Preceded in death by her husbands: Houston Dickey, Rufus Houser, and J.P. Stepp, daughter: Sara Ann Womack, brother: J. Ben Forrest Jr., sisters: Frances Dunn, and Elsie Teague. Survivors include daughters: Doris Rutledge, and Joy Love, grandchildren: Angela Ripper, and Paul Womack, step-grandchildren: Brian, Jama, and Wendy, several nieces and nephews. Family and friends will meet at 3:45P.M. on Wednesday September 21, 2011 at the West View Cemetery for a 4:00P.M. graveside service and interment with Rev. Larry Orr officiating.
