Rites for Roy Mauk Conducted at Dover
Roy Newton Mauk, 64, brother of Ira Mauk of this place and W.L. Mauk of Eakly, died Tuesday of last week at his home in Oklahoma City. Masonic services were conducted at Dover and burial was at that place.
Mauk was an early day resident of Carnegie. He and his brother, in the transfer business here. Later he was manager of a cotton gin at Washita. Mauk was with the OG&E 25 years, serving the company at Hennessey, Medford, Watonga and other points.
He is survived by his wife, the former Turza Wilson of Carnegie; a daughter, Mrs. Reta Sherman, of Jefferson, and a son, Roy N. Jr. of the home address.
