Edna Marie {Billie} Swafford was born on March 24 1918 at Pumkin Center, Okla the daughter of Mildred and Annie {Gee} Pettit She was raised in the Nowata County area. She married Christopher David Swafford on October 26 1952 in Nowata. He preceded her in death on December 19 1983. She had worked in restaurants and cafes in the Nowata area most of her life. She attended Hillside Christian Church at Nowata.
Mrs Swafford is survived by three daughters. Billie Minugh of Springdale, Ar., Shirley and Judy Swafford both of Nowata. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one brother and one sister.
