Thomas E. Broyles Jr.

Thomas Edward Broyles Jr., 66, of Arlington, died Wednesday, Oct. 26, 2011, at Fairfax Hospital in Falls Church. He was born April 13, 1945, in Luray.

He was a supervisor at Virginia ABC Commission for 40 years and was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He moved to the northern Virginia area in 1967.

On Dec. 22, 1969, he married Patricia Ann Wing, who survives.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Thomas Wayne Broyles of Christiansburg; his mother, Lucille (Judd) Broyles; a sister, Diana (Broyles) Embry of Luray; and four grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Edward Broyles.

The funeral will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 29, 2011, at Bradley Funeral Home in Luray with Pastor Chris Walker officiating. Burial will be at Beahm's Chapel Cemetery in Luray with military honors by the VFW Comer Jones Post 621. Visitation was held Friday at the funeral home.
