Funeral services for Lonard W.Fox, 83, Osmond, were held Saturday, September 27, 2003, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Osmond. Father Stan Schmit officiated with burial in St. Teresa Catholic Cemetery, near Clearwater.

Leonard Warren Fox was born in Gretna, Nebraska on May 29, 1920, to William and Mary Hillinger Fox. He graduated from Gretna High School. He served in the Army during World War II, spending 31 months overseas in Africa, Sicily, Italy, France, Alsace, Germany and Austria. After returning home, Leonard started working for the CB&Q Railroad as a railroad agent. On June 5, 1947, Lenard and Theresa Zakrzewski were united in marriage. To this union four children were born.

Leonard retired after working for the railroad for 43 years.

He is survived by his wife; 2 sons and 2 daughters; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; seven sisters; three brothers; two half-brothers; two half-sistes and two infant sons.
