Mrs. Kizzie Durden Blizzard, 79, passed away Thursday, January 2, 1969, in a Sparta hospital following a lengthy illness. Funeral services were held Saturday, January 4, 1t Friendship Baptist Church, with burial in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Blizzard was born in Washington County, daughter of the late Wiley Jackson Durden and Mary Jane Stephens. She was the widow of the late Tommy L. Blizzard, was a homemaker, and a member of Friendship Baptist Church.
She is survived by 4 daughters: Florie Radney of Linton, Estelle Meeks and Susie Stephens of Sandersville, and Louise Edwards of Harrison; 5 grandchildren: Eunice Meeks and Carol Smith both of Milledgeville, William Lester of Harrison, Eula S. Reynolds of Milledgeville, and Gloria Stephens of Sandersville; 4 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
